BLING – BLockchain in Government
BLING uses an iterative explore / enable / deliver approach to accelerate the adoption and deployment of blockchain across the North Sea Region – this will then enable the development and delivery of the next generation of smart e-services, delivering better e-government for citizens and SMEs.
BLING combines public authorities, knowledge institutions and SMEs to develop and deploy blockchain-enabled public services in three areas –Identity, Direct Democracy, and Customer Services.

In 2023 I wrote The Blockchain Book, bringing together learning from 24 pilots, proof of concepts, and use cases from the ‘Blockchain in Government’ project to show how the next generation of government services will be enabled by blockchain.
BLING has just published my latest magazine – Blockchain and Government in Europe. This 84 page magazine brings together 11 interviews and 8 new blockchain use-cases to explore the state of Blockchain in Government in Europe.
